Dreamy Dress: 8 Tips for Engagement Photo Outfits!

Let's talk about making your engagement photos extra awesome with the perfect outfits. 

1.     I want you to look great together, so wear clothes that go well together but don't have to be exactly the same. Pick colors and styles that show both of your personalities.

2.     Location: where you're taking your pictures? If it's outside, think about the trees or city around you, lots of times I do engagement sessions indoors (beautiful and cozy barn, AIRBNB). Let that help you decide what to wear.

3.     Mix Classic and Trendy: Have some fun with trendy clothes if it’s something that resonates with you, but also add classic pieces. You'll want your pictures to look cool now and still look cool when you're older. I always tell my couples, to bring extra outfits to make more beautiful photos.

4.     Show Your Style: Wear clothes that say something about you. Whether you like casual stuff or fancy things, let your style shine in the pictures.

5.     Most of the time you will be moving a lot during your Engagement session so wear clothes that let you do that. You want to be able to have fun and be yourself.

6.     Add Some Accessories: This is a Big One. I always suggest my couples wear accessories if they have them. Put on some extra things like cool jewelry or a hat. These little touches can make your outfits even more awesome. Got a Watch? Jewelry? Yes. Yes. Yes. Again, it’s not mandatory but if it matches your personality then I would highly suggest adding Accessories.

7.     No Crazy Patterns: Don't wear clothes with super busy patterns. Solid colors or simple patterns work best. That way, the focus is on you two and your love!

8.     Match a Bit, but Not Too Much: It's cool to match a little, but don't wear exactly the same thing. Mix it up a bit with different textures and styles.
